funny-I didn't see any protests when Clinton used his cigar for 8 years.
Smoking is stupid. Don't do it. But stop whining about it.

In general activist suck. I hope Bond kills them all with his newest gadget and then smokes afterwords.

I understand he smoked "Players". The name suggests a swinger lifestyle.

Note to Mr. Pierce Brosnan: Follow the Clintern example! You are not supposed to *smoke* the dang things.

I heard that Halle Berry's 'Bond Girl' name in the movie is "Halle Humidor".

More important than whether or not Bond smokes is a little matter of his age. The James Bond of the Ian Flemming novels began by stalking the villainous Le Chiffre in France, circa 1953. (
Casino Royale.) It is therein revealed that he spied all through the war, having garaged his trusty Bentley through the war years only to wreck it in that storyline when Le Chiffre sets a fiendish trap. From such clues I figured out that he figured to be a few years older than my Dad, who was 80 when he died last April.
Resetting the clock for the movie Bonds, Bond was about 32 (Sean Connery's age) in 1962 for Dr. No. If all the Bond actors are playing the same guy--that is, if Bond is still Sean Connery's age--then he's 72.
Pierce Brosnan is supposedly pushing the envelope by playing Bond while about age 50, himself. Odd.

Ladies, who would
you prefer: James Bond with a cigar or Stan Glantz without one? Anyone?
How about Pierce Brosnin with a cigar or Stan Glantz with a million dollars? Five million? How about Bill Gates' fortune? No?
